  • 10 ounces frozen shelled edamame
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Use fresh lime juice for better flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon chipotle powder Adjust the amount for desired spice level.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds Mix in right before serving.

Preparation

  • Cook the edamame according to the package instructions.
  • In a small bowl, mix the lime juice, chipotle powder, salt, and pepper together.
  • Once the edamame is cooked, add the lime juice mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  • Mix in the sunflower seeds right before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the microwave to maintain flavor and texture.
