Sweet Topping Options (choose one or mix and match):

  • Fresh berries ½ cup mixed blueberries, strawberries, raspberries
  • ½ banana sliced
  • ¼ apple thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • Pinch cinnamon
  • Chopped walnuts or almonds optional

Savory Topping Options (choose one or mix and match):

  • ½ avocado sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes halved (about 6–8)
  • Olive oil drizzle about 1 tsp
  • Fresh basil or parsley chopped
  • Sautéed mushrooms with garlic about ¼ cup
  • Pinch of chili flakes black pepper, or smoked paprika

Instructions
 

Toast the Bread:

  • Toast bread slices until golden and crisp, about 2–3 minutes in a toaster or oven.

Spread the Cottage Cheese:

  • Let the toast cool slightly, then evenly spread cottage cheese over each slice.

Add Toppings:

  • For Sweet Toast: Top with fruit, drizzle with honey or maple syrup, and sprinkle with cinnamon or nuts if desired.
  • For Savory Toast: Add avocado, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, herbs, and seasonings as desired.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Slice toast if preferred, and serve immediately for the best texture and taste.
