Ingrédients
  

  • pounds ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning or 2 tbsp homemade
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can 10 oz Rotel (or diced tomatoes with green chilies), drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican blend
  • 1 large bag Nacho Cheese Doritos about 9.75 oz, lightly crushed
  • Optional: ½ cup black beans
  • Optional: ½ cup corn kernels
  • Optional: ½ chopped onion
  • Optional: 1 clove garlic minced
  • Optional toppings: diced tomatoes sliced green onions, chopped cilantro, avocado, extra sour cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  • Stir in sour cream and Rotel (plus any optional add-ins like beans, corn, onion, or garlic). Mix well to combine.
  • Layer the casserole:
  • Add a layer of crushed Doritos to the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Top with half of the beef mixture, then sprinkle with cheese.
  • Repeat layers once more: Doritos, beef, cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Cool for 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with optional toppings if desired.
