- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions optional, for garnish
For the Sausage Gravy:
- 1/2 pound ground breakfast sausage
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper more to taste
- Salt to taste

Cook the Sausage Gravy:
