Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Cooking spray

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, combine the applesauce, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
  • Shape the dough into bite-sized pieces.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • Place the churro bites in the basket, making sure not to overcrowd.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Serve warm, optionally dusted with cinnamon sugar.
