Ingrédients
  

For the Pizza:

  • 1 ball of pizza dough homemade or store-bought
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 20 –25 slices of pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Hot Honey:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven during the preheat.

Prepare the Hot Honey:

  • In a small saucepan, warm the honey over low heat. Add chili flakes and let it infuse for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Shape the Dough:

  • On a floured surface, stretch or roll the pizza dough into a 10–12 inch round. Transfer it to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel.

Build the Base:

  • Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with minced garlic. Evenly spread the shredded mozzarella on top, leaving a small crust border.

Add Ricotta and Pepperoni:

  • Drop spoonfuls of ricotta over the mozzarella. Layer the pepperoni slices evenly across the pizza. Sprinkle with oregano, salt, and pepper.

Bake the Pizza:

  • Transfer to the oven (or pizza stone) and bake for 10–13 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

Drizzle with Hot Honey:

  • Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with the prepared hot honey. Add extra chili flakes if you love extra heat.

Slice and Serve:

  • Slice hot and enjoy right away. Best served fresh!
