  • 3 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 cup lemonade carbonated
  • 1 cup thickened cream
  • A pinch of salt optional

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F) or 180°C (350°F) fan-forced.
  • Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Mix the Ingredients:
  • In a large mixing bowl, sift self-raising flour and add a pinch of salt (optional).
  • Pour in lemonade and thickened cream.
  • Gently mix with a spatula or butter knife until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the dough light and fluffy.
  • Form the Dough:
  • Lightly flour a clean surface and transfer the dough onto it.
  • Knead the dough gently a few times until smooth.
  • Flatten it out to about 2–3 cm (1 inch) thick.
  • Cut Out Scones:

  • Place them close together on the prepared baking tray for a softer texture.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the scones are golden on top.
