For the Chicken & Marinade:
- 500 g boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts, sliced thinly
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp sesame oil optional
For the Stir-Fry:
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- ½ onion thinly sliced
- ½ green bell pepper julienned (optional)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce for stir-fry
- ½ tsp sugar optional, to balance spice
- 1 –2 tbsp water or chicken broth if needed
For Garnish:
- 1 tbsp chopped green onions
- ½ tsp toasted sesame seeds optional
- Extra black pepper to taste
Marinate the Chicken:
In a bowl, combine the chicken slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, black pepper, and sesame oil. Mix well and let it marinate for 15–20 minutes.
